Voice Actress Seo Yuri and Ex-Husband Choi PD Engage in Public Feud Over Financial Disputes

Voice actress Seo Yuri has further exposed messages allegedly exchanged with her ex-husband, PD Choi Byung-gil, amid their ongoing public feud.

On the 22nd, Seo Yuri shared a photo on her Instagram story with the caption, "Behind the scenes, this is what happens," revealing a conversation with a person whose identity is obscured. In the conversation, Seo Yuri says, "Try harder. That way, I can get my money back sooner." The other person retorts, "You should improve your skills and earn money as a voice actress instead of doing adult content."

Seo Yuri responds, "How little money did you give me for me to say that? Don't you feel sorry for me? I should just lament my situation." The other person fires back, "You rely on my money because you can't make it on your own." The financial dispute suggests that the other person is likely PD Choi.

Sharing the messages, Seo Yuri added, "I've never done adult content."

Seo Yuri and PD Choi have been embroiled in a public battle since their divorce after five years of marriage. Previously, PD Choi revealed Seo Yuri's 'divorce agreement' demands, which included casting her in a leading role in a specific drama, ensuring her participation in his future projects, and accompanying him to the Cannes International Series Festival. PD Choi commented that these were unrealistic conditions and claimed to have added an extra amount to finalize the agreement.

Seo Yuri criticized this, stating, "It's hard to accept that he claims to have added 60 million won when he hasn't even repaid the original amount." She further argued that these conditions were not included in the final agreement and were mentioned due to the damage she suffered in the broadcasting industry because of Choi Byung-gil.

Recently, PD Choi took to his social media to express, "I want to pay the settlement, but I'm currently without income, making it difficult. I only wish to secure work soon to pay the settlement."

He also pleaded with Seo Yuri, saying, "In this industry, image and reputation are everything. Negative exchanges benefit no one. Please allow me the chance to recover in the market and pay the settlement."
