Hwang Bo-ra's Family Photo Shoot: A Heartwarming Yet Hilarious Journey

Actress Hwang Bo-ra shared a behind-the-scenes look at a family photo shoot with her mother and son, Woo-in.

On the 21st, Hwang Bo-ra's YouTube channel 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety' released a video titled 'A Family Photo Challenge Starting with Filial Duty and Ending in a Fight (First Reveal of Hwang Bo-ra's Mom)'.

In the video, Hwang Bo-ra planned a special event for her mother: a three-generation family photo with her mother and son. She expressed, "Mom has worked so hard, so I wanted to take her to the salon and capture a family photo since Woo-in is turning two." She added confidently, "I even bought matching outfits at Namdaemun the other day."

However, things didn't go smoothly from the start. Her mother, who rarely wears makeup, felt uncomfortable in the unfamiliar setting, admitting, "I've only worn makeup three times in my life."

Upon seeing the prepared outfits, her mother skeptically remarked, "These don't look like Namdaemun clothes," and during makeup, she candidly said, "I hate gifts like this. Just give me money," eliciting laughter.

Hwang Bo-ra tried to persuade her by saying, "It's to take pretty pictures," but her mother's grumbling continued. Yet, once she saw her made-up appearance, she seemed secretly pleased.

The trio moved to the studio for the main shoot. However, Woo-in cried throughout, making it difficult to proceed. Hwang Bo-ra tried to calm him with snacks, saying, "I'll give you a treat," and even stepped out of the studio briefly.

Despite the challenges, they resumed the shoot, but the situation didn't improve much. Woo-in refused to sit still or stay in front of the camera, leaving both Hwang Bo-ra and her mother exhausted.

After finally completing the shoot, Hwang Bo-ra humorously declared, "I wanted to create memories, but all I got were painful ones. I'm never doing this again," while acknowledging, "This is what a family photo is all about," showcasing the realities of parenting.

Back home, Hwang Bo-ra candidly shared her parenting struggles, revealing, "It's been two years since I had my baby, and due to hormones and stress, I've experienced severe hair loss. It's much better now with consistent care." She emphasized the importance of daily routines in managing her condition.

After the shoot, they reminisced over her mother's old photos. Hwang Bo-ra smiled, "I look like my mom," to which her mother replied, "It's not a bad thing," adding warmth to the moment.

Previously, Hwang Bo-ra revealed that her mother had an accident while caring for her grandson, temporarily losing consciousness. She expressed gratitude, saying, "I'm so thankful for her help with Woo-in, so I planned this event," showing her affection for her family.
