Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Karaoke Date Among Female Trot Singers

Singer Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to go on a karaoke date with.

From October 13 to 19, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go on a karaoke date with?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner.

Kim Eui-young debuted as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 2020 show 'Miss Trot 2'. In May of last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and upbeat dance trot song that highlights Kim's refreshing charm.

Singer Kim Da-hyun secured the second spot. On October 16, she attended an appointment ceremony at the Greenwich Hall of the Yeosu UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort, where she received a letter of appointment from Chairman Park Soo-kwan. Kim Da-hyun also successfully concluded her first solo concert 'Dream', which started in Seoul on March 7 and continued in Busan and Daegu.

In third place is singer Yoyomi. Debuting in 2018 with the single album 'First Story', Yoyomi is known by nicknames such as 'Happy Virus', 'Singing Fairy', and 'Yomi Yomi Yoyomi'. She is the daughter of singer Park Si-won and has shared that she was inspired to become a singer after listening to Hye Eun-i's 'The Third Hangang Bridge' in the car after her father's performance when she was seven.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to go on a spring drive with in this cool weather?', 'Which male singer would you like to go on a spring drive with in this cool weather?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to go on a spring drive with in this cool weather?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to go on a spring drive with in this cool weather?'
