Former FT Island Member Song Seung-hyun Announces Baby News After Leaving Entertainment Industry

Song Seung-hyun, former member of the band FT Island, has announced the news of his first child two years after leaving the entertainment industry.

On the 21st, Song Seung-hyun shared on his social media, "Let's meet soon, our sunshine," along with several photos, including an ultrasound image of the baby. Friends and fans who saw the post have been sending their congratulations and support, with comments like "Congratulations" and "You're finally becoming a dad."

Song Seung-hyun debuted as a guitarist for FT Island in 2009. He announced his departure from the band in 2019 after his contract with the agency expired. In 2024, he hinted at retiring from the entertainment industry, stating, "After much consideration, I have decided to leave the entertainment world and possibly Korea to start a new life."

Born in 1992, Song Seung-hyun is now 33 years old. In June 2024, he married his long-time partner and is reportedly continuing his father-in-law's restaurant business in the United States.
