Solbi Reveals Shocking Past: Survived a Drunk Driving Accident During School Days

Singer and artist Solbi has opened up about being a victim of a drunk driving accident during her school days.

On the 20th, a video titled 'Hit by a Car but Survived? Solbi's Shocking True Story Revealed for the First Time' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Solbi is Back.' In the video, Solbi shared her near-death experience from her school days while conversing with actor Song Yi-woo.

Solbi recounted, "I was hit by a car while running across a crosswalk in front of my house because a friend called me over." She added, "I lost consciousness from the impact and was thrown into the air." Fortunately, she explained, "There was an older girl who had fainted after witnessing the accident, and I landed on her, which prevented me from getting seriously injured."

She revealed that the accident occurred on April Fool's Day, which led to disbelief among those around her, delaying the news from reaching her family. Solbi added, "I was taken to the hospital afterward and treated for a head injury."

Notably, Solbi mentioned that the driver responsible for the accident was under the influence of alcohol, stating, "The incident made me acutely aware of the dangers of drunk driving. It's something that should never be done."

Meanwhile, Solbi is actively expanding her career as a multi-entertainer. On the 2nd of this month, she announced her debut as a writer by releasing a short drama titled 'My Ex-Boyfriend is a Top Star' on a global platform.
