Suzy's Heartfelt Support for Friend Jo Hyun-ah During Her Toughest Time
On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup' featured Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun-ah and Kwon Soon-il, who shared candid stories.
Jo Hyun-ah recalled her mother's passing six years ago and expressed deep gratitude towards Suzy for being there for her.
Jo Hyun-ah shared, "I was drinking with Suzy when I got a call from my older sister. I had a feeling. My mother had been battling illness for nine months, so I was somewhat prepared," she reminisced.
What caught attention was Suzy's actions. Jo Hyun-ah mentioned, "She sat in one spot for three days, eating four bags of squid. Even when people recognized her, she just asked for more squid and stayed put."
Jo Hyun-ah continued, "It's not easy to stay through such a situation. But she even went to the crematorium and followed to the burial site," adding, "There, she said, 'Mother, I'll take good care of my sister,' which was not easy to do, and I was so grateful."
Jo Hyun-ah also recalled Suzy's thoughtful gestures. She said, "On the first day, there were many guests, and I was sweating a lot. Suzy said, 'Sister, hug me,' and then told me to 'go wash up,' showing her practical care."
Jo Hyun-ah expressed, "Many people were a great comfort during that time, but Suzy felt especially significant," adding, "I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Kwon Soon-il and Suzy contributed the most," she conveyed her thanks.
