Galaxy Corporation Expands to Dubai with New Middle East Branch
Recently, Galaxy Corporation announced the establishment of its local subsidiary, 'Galaxy ME,' and plans to strengthen global business collaborations with the Middle Eastern government and key institutions. On the 16th, Jo Sung-hae, head of the Middle East branch, met with UAE royal family member Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai to discuss cooperation in media and technology.
Ahmed bin Mohammed stated through official channels, "In our meeting with Galaxy ME, we explored opportunities for collaboration in the media and advanced technology sectors," adding that "Dubai is expected to solidify its position as a global content and creative economy hub."
According to Galaxy Corporation, the Dubai branch will serve as a strategic base for expanding into the international media market. With a vision of 'Entertech 2.0,' which combines AI, robotics, and media, the company plans to accelerate its efforts to penetrate the global south market.
Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, expressed confidence in UAE's vision and execution, stating, "We established a Middle East base in Dubai with confidence in UAE's vision and execution." He also thanked Ahmed bin Mohammed for his trust and support, adding, "We will actively develop new industries that integrate AI, robotics, and content in the region."
