Park Bom Opens Up About 2NE1 Members and Controversial Past
She praised leader CL, calling her the 'God of Performance.' Park Bom added, "I can't detail everything because I'm not CL, but Lee Chae-rin (CL's real name) is someone who excels at everything."
Regarding the youngest member, Minzy, she described her as "spontaneously quirky," and expressed pride in her, noting, "Minzy is well-known as the granddaughter of the national treasure, Gong Ok-jin, and it seems she inherited that talent."
Park Bom fondly referred to Sandara Park as "my Sandara," reminiscing, "She was a princess in the Philippines. I was a fan from the start." She added, "Even though she's the older sister in the group, she works hard without shame in front of the kids."
Expressing her affection for her fellow members, Park Bom said, "I love them so much." She thanked those who helped them grow as the group 2NE1 in Korea, hoping her feelings would be conveyed.
Additionally, Park Bom requested, "I hope the drug talk is forgotten."
Park Bom cautiously added, "I'm worried about causing another uproar, but the drug known as Adderall bothers me," clarifying, "It's not a drug." She also identified herself as an ADHD patient.
She further stated, "I hope YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and CL don't report to the country that 'Park Bom used more than the prescribed amount' of drugs, which I haven't used in almost 30 years."
Following the controversy, Sandara Park responded the next day, saying, "I have never done drugs. I hope she (Park Bom) stays healthy," and unfollowed Park Bom's social media account. Although Park Bom deleted the post raising drug allegations, she reposted it two days later as "a letter to the public," reigniting the controversy.
Meanwhile, 2NE1, who debuted in 2009, celebrated their 16th anniversary this year. Although they disbanded in 2016, they reunited in 2024 for a world tour, reconnecting with fans worldwide.
