Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Likely Female Trot Singer to Take Great Photos at Flower Festivals

Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer most likely to take great photos at flower festivals.

From October 9 to 15, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer is most likely to take great photos at flower festivals?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner.

Kim Eui-young debuted as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP5 of TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May of last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and cheerful dance trot song that highlights Kim's refreshing charm.

In second place is singer Yoyomi. Debuting in 2018 with the single album 'First Story', Yoyomi is known by nicknames such as 'Happy Virus', 'Singing Fairy', and 'Yomi Yomi Yoyomi'. She is the daughter of singer Park Si-won and has shared that she was inspired to pursue a singing career after listening to Hye Eun-i's 'The Third Han River Bridge' in the car after her father's performance when she was seven.

Singer Geum Jan-di secured the third spot. Geum Jan-di debuted in 2000 with 'Yeongjongdo Seagull / Wet Window'. She gained significant popularity with her 2012 release 'Brother' and has been actively participating in OSTs and other projects. In 2024, she published her first essay 'Bringing Golden Happiness, Trot Singer Geum Jan-di', marking her debut as an essayist.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to go to a drive-in theater with?', 'Which male singer would you like to go to a drive-in theater with?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to go to a drive-in theater with?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to go to a drive-in theater with?'.
