Creators Park Wi and singer-actress Song Ji-eun have announced a surprise paid membership on their YouTube channel.

On the 16th, a video titled 'Become a Family of Wiracle!' was uploaded to the 'Wiracle' YouTube channel.

In the video, Park Wi and Song Ji-eun shared the news of opening a paid membership for the 'Wiracle' channel. Park Wi stated, "We are celebrating a special day by launching this video," and added, "To have a more intimate time with our subscribers, the Wiracle channel is opening a membership."

Song Ji-eun explained the reason for this decision, saying, "I wanted to share deeper stories with our subscribers. So, I thought, 'Why not give it a try?'"

The couple also introduced the exclusive content for membership members. Song Ji-eun mentioned, "We will show the honest side of our relationship that we couldn't fully share in our existing vlogs," to which Park Wi humorously added, "Is it going to be secretive?"

Song Ji-eun expressed her anticipation for live broadcasts, a part of the paid content. When Park Wi asked, "Didn't you always want to be a radio DJ?" Song Ji-eun replied, "Yes, I love talking, so I'm really looking forward to the live sessions."

They further explained that the membership fee is 2,990 KRW. Song Ji-eun promised, "As it's a paid channel, we will provide higher quality videos."

Meanwhile, opinions in the comment section were divided regarding the paid membership. Some comments supported the new venture, saying, "I support the channel's new challenge," and "I subscribed immediately. I hope the channel prospers." However, there were also critical opinions, such as "It's not about the 2,990 KRW. It seems the essence of the Wiracle channel, which focused on improving disability awareness, is lost," and "Everyone tries to make money on YouTube, but it's still disappointing."
