Former Announcer Choi Dong-seok Expresses Deep Love for His Children Amid Divorce Battle

Former announcer and broadcaster Choi Dong-seok has expressed his profound paternal love for his two children.

On the 16th, Choi Dong-seok took to his social media to share, "As a father, I don't mind getting hurt, but I will go to the ends of the earth against anyone who harms my children or makes them cry." He also referenced the movie 'Taken,' which tells the story of a father who risks everything to save his daughter, adding, "The story is fictional, but the father's heart is a documentary." This underscores his sense of responsibility towards his children.

Choi Dong-seok married fellow broadcaster Park Ji-yoon in 2009, and they have a son and a daughter. However, in October 2023, they announced their sudden split after 16 years of marriage, drawing public attention. The couple shocked many by revealing accusations against each other and releasing recordings of their marital disputes during the divorce process.

Currently, custody and parental rights for the two children are held by Park Ji-yoon, while Choi Dong-seok has visitation rights, allowing him to see the children two days a week. The divorce proceedings have turned contentious, with both parties filing lawsuits against each other, continuing a bitter legal battle.
