IU and Byeon Woo-seok Showcase Their Chemistry in '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife'

Actors IU and Byeon Woo-seok revealed their 'perfect couple' chemistry.

On the 13th, the YouTube channel 'Elle Korea - Chemistry Workshop' released a video titled 'IU and Byeon Woo-seok Have a Lot to Say to Each Other as a Newlywed Couple in the 21st Century Grand Prince's Wife'.

In the video, IU and Byeon Woo-seok appeared to promote the MBC drama '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife', engaging in playful banter throughout.

When asked about their 'chemistry score', IU humorously responded, "9 out of 5," while Byeon Woo-seok joked, "10 out of 1."

The playful teasing continued in a segment where they tried to guess each other's preferences. Byeon Woo-seok quickly answered that IU likes bread, but IU struggled to guess Byeon Woo-seok's preference even with the hint "the answer is on set." When Byeon Woo-seok revealed it was "tteokbokki," IU humorously vowed to remember it.

When asked about each other's strengths, IU complimented Byeon Woo-seok as "really cute, really generous, and having great skin," while Byeon Woo-seok praised IU as "really sexy, really pretty, and really cute." IU laughed, saying, "I feel like I've been flattered."

The duo even came up with a couple name. IU suggested "Perfect Couple," combining their character names, Iwan and Seong Hee-joo, and gave fans the nickname "National Sweethearts." Byeon Woo-seok admired IU's creativity.

They also shared insights about each other learned during filming. IU noted, "Woo-seok is sensitive to cold, has impressive arm muscles, and loves tteokbokki." She added that she prefers his hair down. Byeon Woo-seok mentioned, "I also get cold easily, but IU is even more sensitive to it."

IU described Byeon Woo-seok as "a truly adorable person," while Byeon Woo-seok called IU "a genius at both acting and singing."

In response to who wins in a staring contest or a couple's quarrel, Byeon Woo-seok humorously claimed, "I win the staring contest, but I lose the couple's quarrel." He added, "I have to win something. I lose everything else, so I must win the staring contest." However, he blinked and lost the staring contest, concluding with, "I lose everything."

Meanwhile, IU and Byeon Woo-seok are starring as Seong Hee-joo and Iwan in the MBC drama '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife'.
