Exploring New Jersey's Elite Neighborhoods: Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young's Dream House Tour

The celebrity couple, Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young, recently explored New Jersey's prestigious neighborhoods, often compared to South Korea's Daechi-dong for its elite school districts and affluent communities.

On the 11th, the YouTube channel 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young' released a video titled "New Jersey's Daechi-dong: A Dream House Tour with Son Tae-young & Kwon Sang-woo."

In the video, Son Tae-young first visited a house in Demarest, a renowned school district in New Jersey. The approximately 188-pyeong (approximately 6,700 square feet) home featured a clean, white and wood-toned interior with a spacious layout. As she meticulously inspected the house, she checked everything from water pressure to storage and layout, evaluating the home with practical standards.

Son Tae-young showed particular interest when informed that the nearby high school ranks in the top 10% in New Jersey. She expressed her admiration, saying, "That's really great," and inquired, "In Korea, like Daechi-dong, if the school district is good, the house prices are high. Is it the same in the U.S.?"

The real estate agent explained, "Good school districts ensure safety and increase the potential for property value appreciation." Son Tae-young agreed, noting, "Our neighborhood also feels safe because there are schools and a strong police presence."

On another day, Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo visited Alpine, a prominent affluent area in New Jersey. The second house, situated on approximately 1,200 pyeong (approximately 42,300 square feet) of land, featured a heated swimming pool, a spacious terrace, and ample living space. Kwon Sang-woo expressed his satisfaction, saying, "It's the perfect size to live in. I really like this neighborhood."

Son Tae-young also admired the terrace, exclaiming, "It's nice," but expressed regret, saying, "We can't buy it yet." She mentioned the recent news of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg purchasing a $251.7 million mansion, adding with a smile, "We need to work hard too."

Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young married in 2008 and have a son and a daughter. They currently reside in New Jersey for their children's education, with Kwon Sang-woo continuing his career between Korea and the U.S.
