Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer for a Han River Bike Date

Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to enjoy a bike date with along the Han River on a warm spring day.

From the 1st to the 7th of this month, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to enjoy a Han River bike date with on a warm spring day?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner. Known for topping other polls as well, she released her single album 'STARTrot PART.1' in May last year. This album gained attention as it marked the first time music producer Kim Hyung-seok participated in a trot singer's album. Kim Hyung-seok is renowned for creating hit songs for legendary artists like Shin Seung-hun, Kim Gun-mo, Park Jin-young, and Baby V.O.X. 'STARTrot PART.1' features two tracks: the upbeat trot dance song 'Do Whatever You Want' and the emotionally resonant trot ballad 'The Most Foolish Thing in the World'.

In second place was Jeon Yu-jin. She appeared on MBC ON's 'Trot Champion' on the 9th, performing her new song 'Gayo Gayo', released on the 26th. Dressed in a pink floral dress, Jeon Yu-jin captivated viewers with her charming choreography and distinctive vocal style, enhancing the song's appeal with her stable singing ability.

Kim Da-hyun secured the third spot. She is currently holding her solo concert 'Dream', which began in Seoul on the 7th and will continue until the 28th at Yeungnam University's Cheonma Art Center in Daegu. The concert at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul was packed, and the Busan KBS Hall performance on the 14th saw all 3,300 seats filled, creating a spectacular scene. This first solo concert 'Dream' reflects her 12-year passion for music and her aspirations as a singer, adding to its significance. Notably, her father, Kim Bong-gon, served as the general director, leading the planning and direction of the concert, which has drawn attention.
