K-Pop Star Go Woo-ri Announces Pregnancy on 'Radio Star'

Go Woo-ri is going to be a mom.

On the October 1st episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star', themed 'Loyalty Inducers', guests Jo Gap-kyung, Chae Yeon, Go Woo-ri, and Lee Chae-young shared their stories.

During the show, Go Woo-ri made a surprise announcement about her pregnancy. She revealed, "I successfully conceived through IVF. I'm 7 weeks along as of the recording date. Right after confirming my pregnancy, I received a call to appear on 'Radio Star', which was surprising. The baby's nickname is 'Lucky Charm'." Her announcement was met with warm congratulations.

Go Woo-ri married a businessman five years her senior in October 2022. Previously, she had postponed her pregnancy plans while promoting with Jo Hyun-young as part of 'Rainbow18'. At that time, she appeared on the channel 'No Filter Tak Jae-hoon' and disclosed, "We both agreed not to get pregnant while active, so we planned to, but it was on hold." She also mentioned having signed a contract that included clauses prohibiting pregnancy.
