Actress Lee Hye-eun Set to Return to Entertainment After Two-Year Hiatus

Actress Lee Hye-eun (52) is set to make her return to the entertainment industry after a two-year hiatus.

Lee had paused her career to support her child's education and had been residing in Canada. With her son's college plans finalized, she is expected to resume her activities in South Korea later this summer.

Recent reports reveal that Lee's son has been accepted into all seven Canadian universities he applied to, including the prestigious University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is currently deciding between these top institutions and plans to major in International Relations in the humanities department this fall.

Having been a supportive presence for her son in Canada, Lee is now preparing to restart her career. After a two-year break for rejuvenation, she is expected to deliver more mature and profound performances across various fields, including films, dramas, and variety shows.

Lee Hye-eun made her dazzling debut with the film 'Corset' and has appeared in popular series such as KBS2's 'Winter Sonata', tvN's 'Another Miss Oh', and '100 Days My Prince'. As she transitions from her role as a 'mother' back to an 'actress', all eyes are on her upcoming activities in the latter half of the year.
