Ex-Daughter-in-Law of Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-kyung Sparks Controversy with New Allegations
On the 31st, A took to her social media to state, "Ruining a person's life, destroying a family, and ignoring pleas for help, only to act oblivious on broadcast when the world finds out and criticism ensues, is the price of their actions."
She added, "It's quite a sight to see the son responding legally while his parents publicly apologize. Please continue unchanged."
Last September, A filed a lawsuit against Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-kyung's son, B, for alimony. A claimed that after marrying in 2024, conflicts arose just a month into her pregnancy due to B's infidelity. The court ordered B to pay 30 million won in alimony and 800,000 won monthly for child support. A also reportedly won 20 million won in a lawsuit against B's alleged mistress.
In response, Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-kyung stated, "Upon reviewing the court documents and the divorce proceedings, we realized there were slight discrepancies between what we were told and the actual facts. Despite respecting our adult son's privacy and autonomy, we regret not being more attentive to his faults as parents."
