Model Lee Hyun-yi Expresses Her Longtime Admiration for Park Ji-hoon
On the 26th, the YouTube channel 'Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi' released a video titled 'The One Who Was Responsible for My Second Child's Prenatal Education Has Returned as Danjong.' In the video, Lee Hyun-yi visited a movie theater on a holiday morning to watch director Jang Hang-jun's 'The Man Living with the King.'
She shared, "It's been a while since I've been to a theater, and the reason I'm watching this early is because someone with whom I have fond memories is starring in it. I couldn't bring myself to watch it until it surpassed 10 million viewers," revealing her 19-year-long admiration for Park Ji-hoon.
After watching the movie, Lee Hyun-yi left her seat with a lingering expression. She praised the film, saying, "I understand why it surpassed 10 million viewers. I think I'll watch it multiple times." When the production team mentioned they didn't cry, she humorously responded, "How could you not cry? I was sobbing," bringing laughter.
When asked which part made her cry, she replied, "(Park Ji-hoon) was so handsome that I couldn't cry at first. I couldn't immerse myself. But towards the end of the movie, I got emotional." After composing herself, she added, "I realized again today. How can someone look so good on such a big screen? His face tells a story," expressing her passionate admiration for Park Ji-hoon.
A particularly interesting moment was when Lee Hyun-yi revealed how she became a fan of Park Ji-hoon. She said, "After having my second child, I got busy and took a break from being a fan. Before debuting with Wanna One, he appeared on 'Produce 101 Season 2' and did a wink. Not just that shot, but all the other cuts were so handsome. He felt like a classic handsome man. At that time, I was so into him that I attended concerts and was almost obsessed."
She added, "The movie felt too short. I wish they just showed Danjong's face without any dialogue. I was deeply impressed by Park Ji-hoon's portrayal of Danjong. His ongoing projects are doing so well, and his acting is excellent, so I support him," leaving a video message. She also confirmed her status as a fan by sharing her third viewing of 'The Man Living with the King.'
Previously, in 2018, Lee Hyun-yi revealed her fandom for Park Ji-hoon on SBS Radio's 'Kim Chang-ryeol's Old School.' At the time, she humorously mentioned, "My friends told me to take care of my son instead of Park Ji-hoon."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyun-yi married engineer Hong Sung-ki, a graduate of an engineering college, in 2012, and they have two sons. Recently, she shared on her social media that her eldest son, Yoon-seo, was accepted into the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth program, drawing attention.
