A former Seoul city councilor, who initially gained fame as a comedian, has reportedly gone into hiding after borrowing over $1 million from local residents and district office employees.

According to multiple reports on the 19th, the Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul has recently booked the former councilor, identified as A, on charges of fraud. A is accused of borrowing money from residents and district office employees in Seodaemun District since last year and then disappearing without repaying the loans.

Who is A?
