Korean TV Personality An Sun-young Reveals Her 11kg Weight Loss Secrets
On the 18th, a video titled '4050 Diet: If You Don't Do It This Way, You Will Fail' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'This is An Sun-young'. In the video, An Sun-young opened up by saying, "People often say they gain weight even by drinking water," and advised, "In such cases, pay attention to what you mix in that water."
She continued, "Despite being a drink lover, I maintain my figure by only drinking water, wine, or alcohol, and avoiding other beverages." An Sun-young added, "I don't drink soda and avoid fruit juices because of the sugar content."
An Sun-young explained her diet journey, noting, "Many people don't even know the basics of dieting." She shared, "I've taken personal training and read countless diet management books over the years. I've also learned a lot from working with the president of the Korean Obesity Association on a TV program for five years."
Regarding dieting, she stated, "The conclusion is not to do anything that can't be maintained for life," and expressed her belief, "If you say 'I won't eat white sugar from today,' you'll fail the diet. But saying 'Let's quit soda from today' is doable." An Sun-young also advised, "Say goodbye to the spoon. Try eating everything with chopsticks. You'll naturally stop consuming soups."
Previously, An Sun-young experienced rapid weight gain due to difficult childbirth, postpartum depression, and negative comments. She later underwent surgery when a stone blocked her kidney entrance. Following the surgery, she declared her diet on social media and amazed many by losing over 10kg. In 2018, she published the book 'I Want to Diet', sharing her experience of losing 11kg in 100 days after reaching 70kg post-pregnancy and regaining her health.
