Kim Hee-sun Shines as Content Director at 'ATO: Beautiful Gift' Art Exhibition in Gwangju
This exhibition showcases 77 major works by 22 prominent South Korean artists, offering a valuable glimpse into the evolution of Korean contemporary art over the past half-century.
The opening event on the 14th was graced by key figures from Gwangju's art and cultural sectors, including participating artists such as Heo Dal-jae, Kang Hyung-gu, Kim Yoo-jun, Heo Hoe-tae, and Lee Lee-nam, along with various VIP guests.
Kim Hee-sun's involvement as a content director has garnered additional attention. Collaborating with art director Jung Na-yeon and the 45-year-old Pyo Gallery, she played a pivotal role in the exhibition's planning and content development, crafting the narrative and message of the space. Her efforts ensured that visitors could experience the flow of Korean contemporary art in a more immersive way.
An exhibition representative stated, “We hope this exhibition encourages as much interest and love for our country's artists as there is for renowned international exhibitions.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-sun married Park Joo-young in 2007, and they have a daughter named Yeon-ah. Park Joo-young is the second son of Park Sung-kwang, chairman of Laksan Group.
