Actor Kim Seung-hyun and Wife Jang Jung-yoon Share Budget-Friendly Dining Tips Amid Rising Costs

Actor Kim Seung-hyun recently enjoyed a family meal at a budget-friendly restaurant.

On the 15th, the YouTube channel 'Gwangsan Kim Family' released a video titled 'Kim Seung-hyun and Jang Jung-yoon's Survival Strategy in the Era of High Prices.'

In the video, Kim Seung-hyun and his wife Jang Jung-yoon introduced affordable dining options in the Mapo-gu area. Jang Jung-yoon commented, "The economy is tough these days. Many shops in Hongdae and Mangwon-dong have 'For Rent' signs. The economy is struggling, but prices keep rising." She added, "That's why we want to introduce three restaurants in Mapo-gu that offer good value and quality."

Their first stop was a Korean buffet in Hongdae, priced at around 10,000 won, offering a variety of side dishes, soup, and rice. Kim Seung-hyun remarked, "It's rare to find such a variety of side dishes at this price," calling it the "ultimate value for money." Jang Jung-yoon also expressed satisfaction, saying, "The food isn't too spicy and feels like homemade meals, which is nice."

Kim Seung-hyun shared, "In these times of high prices, finding budget-friendly restaurants like this might be a better option than cooking at home."

They also visited a Chinese restaurant where a bowl of jjajangmyeon costs 5,000 won, and a sushi restaurant where each plate is priced at 1,500 won for a family meal. Jang Jung-yoon noted, "Usually at sushi places, you have to pay attention to the plate colors for pricing, but not here," expressing her satisfaction. The couple enjoyed various sushi like salmon, eel, and yellowtail, spending around 20,000 won.

Back in January, Kim Seung-hyun made headlines by dismissing concerns about his livelihood due to a casting gap. Jang Jung-yoon, a TV writer, explained, "If you're registered with the Writers' Association, you receive rerun fees. I'm registered with both the Writers' and Performers' Associations, so I receive them."

She added with a smile, "Many people worry about our livelihood, but there's no need to." Kim Seung-hyun confidently stated, "They say not to worry about celebrities."
