Controversy Surrounds MC Dingdong After Alleged Assault on Female BJ During Live Stream
A female BJ, referred to as A, has come forward with allegations against broadcaster MC Dingdong, claiming she was assaulted during a live internet broadcast.

On October 10, A detailed the incident on an online community platform. She stated, "We were okay with exchanging insults," adding that "MC Dingdong often used his two-year-old drinking incident as a comedic topic." She further claimed, "He disrespected me the most and commented that my voice was particularly audible."

A expressed that she would not have considered legal action if MC Dingdong had sincerely apologized. However, she has now decided to pursue legal measures.

She revealed, "I am currently undergoing psychiatric counseling for PTSD and panic symptoms, and I received a medical diagnosis of a two-week injury." She added, "I hired a lawyer two days ago and filed a complaint yesterday."

A also mentioned, "MC Dingdong initially offered a settlement of 10 million won, but I refused." She continued, "My lawyer advised settling for simple assault, but I declined that as well." She added, "MC Dingdong keeps sending apology texts, but I have asked him to contact me through my lawyer."

MC Dingdong recently faced backlash after appearing to assault a female BJ during a live internet broadcast. The incident reportedly occurred after the BJ mentioned MC Dingdong's past DUI incident. Following the controversy, MC Dingdong tearfully apologized to viewers and the BJ, stating, "Hearing that brought back trauma, and I thought of my children, which led to my reaction."

As the controversy grew, MC Dingdong claimed that the situation was being distorted and exaggerated online, hinting at potential legal action against some netizens.

In 2022, MC Dingdong was arrested for driving a Mercedes-Benz while intoxicated in Seoul's Hawolgok-dong area, refusing a police breathalyzer test, and fleeing the scene. He was charged with violating the Road Traffic Act (DUI), obstructing official duties, and causing injury while obstructing official duties. He received a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison, suspended for 2 years. After a period of self-reflection, he attempted a comeback as a pre-show MC for 'Current King Season 3.'
