Earlier, on October 9, Ahn expressed her support for a national petition advocating for stricter penalties for child abuse, stating, "Please... let our intentions be heard."

The petition is linked to the tragic 'Haedun Death Case.' Recently featured on SBS's 'Unanswered Questions,' the case involves the death of a 4-month-old infant, Haedun (a pseudonym), in Yeosu, South Korea, in October last year. The mother had called for help, claiming the child had fallen in the bathtub and was not breathing, but the baby, measuring just 69cm, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An autopsy revealed the cause of death as hemorrhagic shock and organ failure due to multiple traumas. Home surveillance footage captured disturbing sounds of blunt impacts and the baby's cries, along with the mother's voice threatening, "I'll kill you."

Prosecutors have charged the mother with child abuse resulting in death, while the father is detained on charges of child neglect.

Meanwhile, Ahn Young-mi, who is 44, recently surprised fans by announcing her second pregnancy on her radio show, where she is a DJ. She shared, "Today's topic is the moment of birth. There's a reason I chose this topic out of the blue. I'm pregnant with my second child," receiving warm congratulations from listeners.
