Top Musical Actor in South Korea Referred to Prosecutors on Sexual Assault Charges

A leading male musical actor in South Korea has been referred to prosecutors on charges of sexual assault, causing a wave of shock.

According to a report by a local media outlet on the 11th, musical actor A has been under police investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman and has now been handed over to the prosecution. The Seoul Bangbae Police Station sent A to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office last month on charges of rape by force.

It is reported that A committed the crime against victim B in Seoul last year. The victim reportedly escaped the scene and called 112 to report the incident.

Meanwhile, A has strongly denied the charges during police investigations. However, the police concluded that there is sufficient evidence to support the charges and referred the case to the prosecution. No details about A's identity have been disclosed.
