YouTuber FreeZia Sparks Controversy with Comments on Galaxy Phones

YouTuber FreeZia has found herself at the center of controversy following her recent remarks.

On October 8, a video was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'THE FreeZia' showcasing FreeZia's day at a nail salon.

During a conversation with a staff member, FreeZia commented, "This sister's boyfriend uses a Galaxy Flip," to which the staff member responded, "Why? What's wrong with that?" FreeZia replied, "Honestly, I'd be upset if my boyfriend used a Galaxy."

She continued, "My mom and dad use Galaxy phones, but isn't it different with a boyfriend? The thought of him taking pictures of me with that phone is annoying," she candidly expressed.

FreeZia added, "The photo quality between Galaxy and iPhone is different. I've never even touched a Galaxy. The only people I can tolerate using a Galaxy are my mom and dad."

She also mentioned, "When the Flip first came out, I thought it was pretty and wanted to try it, but iPhones seem much more convenient."

After her comments were made public, netizens reacted with mixed opinions. Some criticized her, saying, "What's wrong with Galaxy? It's disappointing to hear she only wants to date someone who uses an iPhone," and "Even if it's the same message, the way you say it matters. She could have phrased it better." Others defended her, stating, "It's just a personal preference."

Previously, in January 2022, FreeZia faced backlash for allegedly using counterfeit luxury items and presenting them as genuine on her YouTube channel, leading to a 'fake goods controversy.'

FreeZia apologized and took a break from the public eye. She returned five months later, sharing daily vlogs, mukbangs, and beauty tips, reconnecting with her fans.
