Kim Soo-min, a former SBS announcer currently residing in the United States, has shared some exciting news.

On the 10th, Kim posted on her Instagram story, "Things are a bit complicated, but I get to attend one more semester!" along with a photo.

The photo shows Kim seemingly in the process of applying for a visa. She mentioned, "I'll be back in the U.S. in August and will take fall semester classes via Zoom." She added, "The school granted me additional scholarships, perhaps feeling sorry for me missing essential courses due to the visa shutdown."

Previously, Kim expressed her struggles with English on her social media, saying, "I wish I were better at English. Being a humanities student abroad is tough. I hit the limits of my English every day, and my thinking feels limited because of it."

Kim, who is 28 years old, made headlines as the youngest announcer ever when she joined SBS as part of the 24th open recruitment in 2018. She unexpectedly resigned after three years and married a prosecutor five years her senior in 2022.

In April last year, Kim was accepted into UCLA Law School and is currently balancing her studies and parenting with the support of her husband.
