K-Pop Star Byul Shares Heartfelt Family Moments Amidst Health Struggles
On March 9th, Byul took to her social media to post, "The last upload on my feed was from Dream's graduation day. So much has happened since then (a relay of illnesses and caregiving, the fate of a family with many children). I'm finally sharing these beautiful and precious moments," along with photos from her youngest daughter Songyi's graduation.
She continued, "February was tough with Dream and Soul both catching a stomach virus at the same time, and Songyi getting hit by the flu. We barely made it to Dream's graduation," adding, "On that day (Songyi's graduation), everyone I met asked if I was sick because I looked so worn out and aged. I couldn't help but edit the photos," explaining the series of illnesses and caregiving challenges.
Reflecting on the delayed post due to these challenges, she added, "Seeing them grow healthy, walk, hug, and say 'I love you'—sometimes I forget, but it's truly a miracle from God, a great gift. I must not forget that."
The post included photos of Haha and Byul with their children celebrating Songyi's graduation. It featured Songyi singing with classmates and family photos with Haha and Byul wearing graduation caps.
Byul married Haha in 2012, and they are parents to two sons and a daughter.
