BTS to Open Additional Seats for 'The Comeback Live: ARIRANG' at Gwanghwamun Square
BTS is set to open additional seating for their upcoming performance at Gwanghwamun Square on October 21 at 8 PM. The event, titled 'BTS The Comeback Live: ARIRANG', aims to provide a smoother viewing experience by extending seating to the south of Sejong-daero Intersection, from Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) to near City Hall Station (Line 1). The entire area will be standing-room only, with large LED screens installed for viewing. Tickets will be available for free on NOL Ticket starting October 12 at 8 PM, and existing ticket holders are restricted from booking.

The event will now accommodate approximately 22,000 attendees, with seating arrangements prioritized for safety and crowd dispersion.

BigHit Music and HYBE have strengthened measures against ticket scalping and unauthorized entry. They plan to monitor and report illegal ticket transfers online in real-time to preemptively block scalping. Additionally, they will enhance identity verification for all attendees and introduce extra verification in areas where scalping is expected to be prevalent. Detailed identity verification procedures will be announced on the official website to minimize on-site congestion.

This concert will be simultaneously broadcast live on Netflix, marking the first time the platform streams an artist's solo performance in real-time.

Meanwhile, BTS is set to release their 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' on October 20 at 1 PM. The album's title track, 'SWIM', conveys the message of persevering through life's waves. RM contributed to the songwriting, adding authenticity to the track.
