Ju Ji-hoon Shares Humorous Anecdote of Being Kicked Out from 'Jjanhyung'

Actor Ju Ji-hoon recently shared a humorous story about being kicked out from the show 'Jjanhyung'.

On the 9th, Ju Ji-hoon appeared alongside Ha Ji-won and Nana on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup'.

During the show, Shin Dong-yup commented on Ju Ji-hoon's seemingly carefree nature, suggesting that it often comes from a wealthy background. Ju Ji-hoon responded, "I wasn't financially wealthy, but the atmosphere at home was harmonious."

Reflecting on his childhood, Ju Ji-hoon shared, "Until I was nine, the bathroom was outside the house. I have a mindset of not making mistakes. We used to heat water with coal briquettes in a big green trash can. Although we weren't financially well-off, the mood was always warm."

Ju Ji-hoon, who easily blends into social gatherings, said, "Perhaps because I played with older guys a lot when I was young, I have a mindset of not making mistakes."

However, Ju Ji-hoon humorously confessed about being kicked out during the second consecutive appearance on 'Jjanhyung'. "I went to the bathroom, and suddenly they took my mic away. As I was being kicked out, I thought something went wrong. Even when drunk, you remember shocking moments. That's how I left in the middle of the recording," he shared, eliciting laughter.

Ha Ji-won testified about Ju Ji-hoon, saying, "Guys say he's sexy." Ju Ji-hoon, referring to Nana's different personality from her 'Orange Caramel' activities, said, "I did something like that too. It was the drama 'Goong'."

Ju Ji-hoon also revealed the behind-the-scenes story of being cast in 'Goong'. Despite not majoring in acting, he initially declined the offer for three weeks. "I was a senior in modeling, and I thought, 'I'm too manly. I'm like Im Kkeok-jeong.' It was hard to wear a school uniform and have a shaggy cut. But director Hwang In-roe contacted me and told me to do it, so I did," he explained.

Ju Ji-hoon, who used to play in a band with friends, expressed, "I'm not afraid to do what I love. Instead, you have to give up money. We didn't release music or charge for performances. We just performed for an hour at the beach during the 'Busan International Film Festival', and I was so happy in those moments."
