Actress Nana Heroically Stops Armed Robber to Protect Her Mother

Actress Nana recently shared a harrowing experience where she bravely confronted a robber to protect her mother.

On the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup,' actors Joo Ji-hoon, Ha Ji-won, and Nana made an appearance on October 9th.

During the show, Shin Dong-yup mentioned, "I heard from the news that you caught a thief," referring to Nana's recent encounter with a robber. He added, "It's truly amazing and such a relief."

Recalling the incident, Nana said, "It was chaotic. I felt like time slowed down, and every second was critical." She confessed, "What I learned from that experience is that in an emergency, you must act instinctively. Even a moment of hesitation could put you in danger."

Nana described the tense moment when the robber was armed, saying, "When I saw the weapon fall from the robber's hand, I instinctively defended myself. I wonder if I would have had the courage if the weapon hadn't fallen."

Speaking about her relationship with her mother, Nana expressed, "She is more precious than my own life, an irreplaceable presence." She added, "I thought our bond was special, but after this incident, we've grown even closer."

Nana recalled the critical moment, "My mom was in the living room, and I was asleep in my room, which is quite far from the living room. The door was locked, so I couldn't hear anything. But miraculously, I heard my mom's faint voice, which woke me up. At that moment, my mom couldn't even scream because she was worried I might come out."

Nana's mother, who briefly lost consciousness during the ordeal, later regretted not being able to shout, "Jinah, lock the door," as she was being choked. Nana reflected, "Hearing that, I could feel my mom's emotions and fear at that moment. It made me realize that we will protect each other for life. It brought us even closer, and I believe it was divine intervention."

When asked if she used her martial arts skills to subdue the robber, Nana replied, "I've never learned martial arts. I just rushed in as soon as I saw him," showing her deep affection for her mother.

Last November, Nana and her mother were victims of a robbery at their home. They managed to overpower the robber after a struggle and reported the incident to the police.
