BLACKPINK's Jisoo Faces Acting Criticism Amidst 'Monthly Boyfriend' Promotion

BLACKPINK member Jisoo, who is once again facing criticism over her acting skills, encouraged fans to watch her latest project.

On October 8, Jisoo took to Instagram to share several photos with the caption, "Subscribe to Monthly Boyfriend."

The photos show Jisoo posing with her co-stars from the set of 'Monthly Boyfriend.' As expected from the visual member of the group, her flawless appearance caught the attention of many.

Jisoo stars in the Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend,' which premiered on October 6. The romantic comedy series follows the story of Mirae, a webtoon PD played by Jisoo, who escapes her mundane life by subscribing to a virtual dating simulation.

However, as soon as the series was released, Jisoo's acting skills came under scrutiny. Despite being in the acting industry for six years, the recurring criticism has led some to question her dedication and attitude towards acting.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK released their third mini-album 'DEADLINE' on September 27 at 2 PM KST, marking their first release in approximately three years and five months since their second full album 'BORN PINK.'
