Fitness Trainer Yang Chi-seung Celebrates First Paycheck with Friends Amidst Past Financial Setback

Fitness trainer Yang Chi-seung treated his friends to a meal with his first paycheck.

On the 8th, Yang Chi-seung's YouTube channel 'Yang Chi-seung's MakTube' released a video titled 'I Got My First Paycheck'.

In the video, Yang explained, "I received my first paycheck today, so I invited some people," revealing the reason for the gathering. After closing his gym, he started working at a new job and decided to celebrate his first paycheck by dining with close friends.

Originally, the plan was to hold a party on a boat space rented by a junior, but due to a prior booking, the location had to be changed. The celebration continued with a rooftop and riverside restaurant barbecue party featuring pork belly.

Yang personally prepared pork neck and belly for his friends. Despite suffering a 1.5 billion won fraud loss, he expressed his joy, saying, "If you get your first paycheck, you should treat others. It's been a while since we've all met, so let's enjoy the meal."

His friends jokingly remarked, "Your generosity is like that of a CEO," which led to laughter. When asked about the amount of his first paycheck, Yang humorously responded, "Why are you asking that?"

His friends teased, "Since it's not beef, your paycheck must not be that high. Is it pork today?" Yang laughed along, and another friend added, "When your salary increases, let's have beef next time," causing more laughter.

Film director Park Se-jun and composer Lee Joo-ho were also present. Director Park shared, "While preparing for a film, I often thought of you," offering words of encouragement. Composer Lee joked about Yang's singing, saying, "For your grade, it's a song to discard," bringing more laughter.

As the meal continued, Yang ordered chicken and fish cake soup for a second round. He commented, "My first paycheck flew away at the Han River," but added, "I'm happy to spend it with people."

Previously, Yang revealed that he suffered a 1.5 billion won fraud loss while running a gym. The gym in Seoul's Gangnam district was unexpectedly found to be on public land, leading to an eviction order and significant financial loss, including lease deposits and facility investments. After this setback, he has started a new life as an employee, managing a gym and swimming pool in an apartment community facility, continuing his daily routine.
