Model Lee Hyun-yi Shares Her Experience of Enrolling Her Son in Prestigious Private Elementary School
On the 7th, the YouTube channel 'Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi' released a video titled 'The Night Before Elementary School Entrance Ceremony, Why Is Hyun-yi's Mental State Shaken?'.
In the video, Lee Hyun-yi revealed the realistic day of a parent preparing for her second son Young-seo's entry into elementary school. From the preliminary gathering to labeling school supplies, considering after-school classes, and attending the entrance ceremony, the process showcased the busy life of a 'working mom'.
After visiting the school, she shared, "The sight of the kids sitting in the classroom was so cute. The school and classroom felt bigger than I expected," conveying her unique feelings.
Back home, she laid out the list of supplies and began preparing in earnest. Lee Hyun-yi sighed, "There's a pile of things to fill out," and explained, "There are so many supplies needed for first grade. I had to order them urgently with rocket delivery." She meticulously checked and packed items like pencils, erasers, jump ropes, and scissors.
The night before the entrance ceremony, she laughed, "This is how it is with the second child. You end up preparing everything last minute." She continued, "With Yoon-seo, I think I had everything ready a month in advance, but now I'm doing it all at once," sharing her real-life parenting experience.
Lee Hyun-yi also expressed concerns about her son's adaptation to school. She mentioned, "In a recent psychological consultation, they said he gets stressed in chaotic environments," but added, "The school is quite structured, so it should suit Young-seo well."
After the entrance ceremony, Lee Hyun-yi shared, "The ceremony was more fun than I expected," and added, "The big surprise was that the kids went to sleep right after the lights went out at 9 PM. Now that both are on the same schedule, mornings should be a bit easier."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyun-yi's two sons attend Chung-Ang University Elementary School, a prestigious private school with an annual tuition of approximately 10 million won.
