Comedian Kim Young-chul Faces Challenges in London: From Fire Alarms to Language Barriers

Comedian Kim Young-chul recently found himself in a series of unexpected situations during his trip to London. On the YouTube channel 'Kim Young-chul Original,' a video titled 'Why Kim Young-chul Almost Faced a Life-Threatening Situation in the UK? (Hotel Fire)' was uploaded on the 6th.

Kim Young-chul traveled to the UK just before the Lunar New Year holidays to improve his English skills. At Incheon Airport, he expressed his apprehension, saying, "I met an honorary Brit and now I don't want to go to the UK." The honorary Brit had warned him about the presence of thieves and pickpockets.

The production team gifted Kim with a smartphone strap to prevent loss, to which he jokingly responded, "I hope they don't cut off my hand," while expressing gratitude.

Kim shared his ambitions, stating, "My English has weakened while learning Japanese. I want to refocus on English and turn this into a hub for interviews with Hollywood actors."

During his stay at a residence hotel for eight nights, Kim was startled by a fire alarm, only to discover it was triggered by burnt toast. He apologized to the hotel staff and guests, saying, "I'm glad it was nothing serious. Sorry for the disturbance."

While traveling near London, Kim admitted, "The guide's English was too fast for me to understand." He repeatedly sought shelter in cafes due to sudden rain, appearing flustered as he searched his bag.

Kim feared his microphone was stolen when he couldn't find it after leaving his bag unattended while ordering. Relieved to find it deep in his bag, he remarked, "I almost packed up and returned to Korea after just two days."

In the next episode preview, Kim is seen struggling with the challenges of British English and losing items, sparking curiosity about his adventures.
