Actress Lee Hye-young Shares Recovery Update from Lymphatic Swelling

Actress and painter Lee Hye-young has shared an update on her recovery from lymphatic swelling around her eyes.

On the 4th, Lee posted a photo with the caption, "Returning to Seoul seems to help with lymph circulation." The photo shows Lee smiling brightly despite her eyes being red and swollen from the condition.

She explained the cause of the swelling, saying, "It seems to have worsened after I overexerted myself finishing a painting in LA and holding an exhibition." Lee added, "My goal is to recover my health," expressing her determination to get better.

Previously, in 2021, Lee revealed that she was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer during a health check-up and underwent lung resection surgery. She also had a gallstone emergency, which concerned her fans. The news of her cancer diagnosis came around her 10th wedding anniversary, drawing sympathy from many.

In other news, Lee married Lee Sang-min of the duo Roo'ra in 2004, but they divorced after 14 months due to financial and business conflicts. In 2011, she married a businessman one year her senior and had a daughter. Currently, she is active as an MC on the MBN variety show 'Dolsing Fourmen.'
