Actress Lee Young-eun Faces Public Backlash Over Social Etiquette Breach

Actress Lee Young-eun has quietly deleted a controversial post after facing criticism for breaching public etiquette during a movie outing.

As of 3 PM on the 4th, a check by TenAsia revealed that the most recent post on Lee Young-eun's Instagram was from the 22nd of last month. The post that sparked the public etiquette controversy, which included the phrase "obsessed with 'The King and the Clown'," has been removed.

Earlier, Lee Young-eun had shared on her social media that she visited the cinema to watch 'The King and the Clown', with a caption stating, "I didn't know it would turn into a sea of tears."

However, while other moviegoers had their feet on the sofa with socks on, Lee Young-eun posed with her shoes on the edge of the sofa, leading to the public etiquette controversy.

Previously, actress Min Do-hee faced criticism from some netizens last year for posting a photo with her shoes on an airport chair. Min Do-hee apologized, saying, "I am sorry for causing discomfort with my careless actions," and acknowledged that she should have been more cautious as a public figure. She promised to be more attentive to even the smallest actions in the future and deleted the problematic post.

Meanwhile, Lee Young-eun, born in 1982, is 43 years old. She debuted in the entertainment industry as a model in 1998, married a non-celebrity in 2014, and has a daughter born in 2015.
