Former Short Track Star Kwak Yoon-Gi Shines with Unexpected Acting Talent
On October 1st, Kwak shared several photos and a video on his Instagram, captioning them, "A day when I heard 'Your acting is great' more than 'You skate well.' It felt like a dream 🤖🩶."
The posts feature Kwak performing passionately on an ice hockey rink alongside singer Lee Young-ji and actor Moon Sang-min. Notably, his robot dance and intense gaze acting were so convincing that they could be mistaken for a professional actor's performance.
Kwak Yoon-Gi, born in 1989, is 36 years old this year. He was selected as a national representative in 2007 and swept medals at the Olympics and various competitions before retiring in April last year. He is currently active as a YouTuber and short track commentator.
