On the 24th, Kim Dong-wan shared a brief message on a thread, stating, "When you meet someone who lets you live as yourself, you suddenly want to get married." In response to a fan asking, "Are you getting married?" he left a cryptic reply, "Am I getting married?" He further fueled curiosity by liking comments from fans suggesting he had met someone special and would make a good husband.

Previously, Kim Dong-wan appeared on the 2023 Channel A variety show 'Groom Class,' where he revealed, "I tend to think of the worst-case scenarios," and shared that he had been traumatized by past relationships with unfaithful partners. His statement, "I still have the desire to get married, even though I feel like I might miss the chance if I wait too long," has resurfaced in light of recent events.

Meanwhile, on the 20th, Kim Dong-wan faced backlash after posting about the legalization of prostitution on his social media. Initially making his account private, he reopened it as the controversy grew.
