Korean actress Kim Gyu-ri recently found herself at the center of controversy after hosting a fan meeting at a restaurant run by DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul. The event, which included singing and dancing, led to an unexpected visit from local authorities.

Kim Gyu-ri held a small fan meeting at Lee Ha-neul's gopchang (grilled intestines) restaurant. Videos and photos of Kim dancing to Lee's music were shared on social media, capturing the lively atmosphere of the event. It was reported that the performance was an impromptu interaction with fans.

Lee Ha-neul later addressed the situation on his personal broadcast, revealing that a complaint from some netizens led to a visit from the district office. He explained, "Kim Gyu-ri got excited and danced after I sang a song, which resulted in a complaint and subsequent inspection." He expressed frustration, stating, "We weren't conducting illegal business or using the event for commercial purposes, yet we were inspected."

The inspection was reportedly triggered by netizens who reported the event to the local district office. According to current food sanitation laws, general restaurants are intended for cooking and selling food, and activities involving sound equipment that encourage singing or dancing can be restricted. Violations can lead to a one-month business suspension for the first offense, a two-month suspension for the second, and business license revocation or closure for the third.

This incident has sparked debate online, highlighting the clash between celebrity fan service events and regulations governing conduct within business premises.
