K-Pop Star Kim Jang-hoon Hosts Charity Bazaar for Rescued Dogs in Seoul
The event, titled 'BIG Bazaar,' will take place on February 28 and March 1 at the Eco Center in Gangnam, Seoul. On the second day, the event will also feature a dog adoption program, adding more significance to the cause.
Organized in collaboration with the animal rescue organization SOBY, the 'BIG Bazaar' aims to raise funds for veterinary expenses for rescued dogs. The event will showcase over 100 items, ranging from pet supplies to lifestyle products for pet owners, creating an experience akin to a pet fair.
Kim Jang-hoon, who adopted a rescued dog named 'Boe' through SOBY last year, has consistently shown a deep commitment to animal welfare. This bazaar is a continuation of his genuine philanthropic efforts, spreading warmth and compassion.
The first day of the event will feature appearances by various celebrities, including opera singer Kim Dong-kyu, singers Kim Jong-seo, Hyun Jin-young, Jung Se-hoon, Woong San, Kim Choo-ri, actors Jung Joon, Nam Hyun-joo, Kim Hong-pyo, Jung Dong-geun, and mixed martial artist Myung Hyun-man. These stars will contribute through talent donations and by offering personal items for the bazaar.
Kim Jang-hoon is currently on his nationwide tour 'One Man Show,' which began in November last year. The tour has seen sold-out performances in cities like Pyeongtaek, Incheon, and Daegu, with the momentum continuing in Busan.
The 2026 'One Man Show' tour will continue with confirmed dates in Jeonju on March 8, Uijeongbu on March 21, Anyang on March 28, Icheon on April 18, Suwon on April 19, Hanam on April 26, and Yongin on May 9. Kim plans to engage with audiences across the country through the end of the year.
At 62, Kim Jang-hoon is known for his philanthropy, with his cumulative donations reportedly amounting to approximately 20 billion KRW (around 200 million USD).
