SBS Drama 'From Today, I'm Human' Unveils a Heart-Wrenching Dilemma for Gumiho
The episode reveals Eun-ho, portrayed by Kim Hye-yoon, at a crossroads after discovering the true destiny of Kang Si-yeol, played by Lomon. Pa-gun, played by Joo Jin-mo, warns Eun-ho that meddling with human fate comes with severe consequences.
Pa-gun explains that Kang Si-yeol's original fate is to rise high but burn out quickly, and to save him from never seeing another winter, Eun-ho must stab her beloved with a dagger. Only by correcting the twisted fate can Eun-ho return to being a Gumiho, and refusal would result in an innocent human dying in her place, forcing her to live as a human forever.
Meanwhile, Hyun Woo-seok, played by Jang Dong-joo, survives a critical moment only to be diagnosed with a rare heart cancer, giving him a mere six months to live. Furious that his misfortune is a result of bearing Kang Si-yeol's fate, Hyun Woo-seok demands Kang Si-yeol to reverse their destinies.
In a brief romantic interlude, Eun-ho foresees a grim future while on an away game with Kang Si-yeol, shedding tears. In her dream, Pa-gun advises that even if one twists fate like a breeze, a storm-like force cannot be stopped. Eun-ho envisions a tragic scene where Kang Si-yeol stabs her with a dagger, realizing the inescapable fate awaiting them. Awakening, she gazes at Kang Si-yeol with affection, deepening the sorrow of their predicament. Viewers are left wondering what decision Eun-ho will make to navigate her desperate situation.
