Korean Actress Ko So-young Shares Heartwarming Visit to Traditional Market

Korean actress Ko So-young recently shared a glimpse into her everyday life by visiting a traditional market, as seen on her YouTube channel on the 20th.

In the video titled 'Power J's Heartwarming Traditional Market Visit for Lunar New Year,' Ko So-young is seen preparing for her market trip. She emphasized the importance of eating before shopping, saying, "You need to fill your stomach before going to the market. If you go hungry, you'll end up buying unnecessary things."

Ko So-young, who mentioned she occasionally visits the market, came prepared with cash and a shopping list, determined to buy only what was necessary. She described her outfit as "warm and cozy," featuring a faux fur outerwear.

Expressing her delight at being back at the market after a long time, Ko So-young received a warm welcome from the vendors. She expressed her trust in the expertise of the vendors, saying, "It's best to listen to the experts when you're unsure."

Ko So-young also took time to pose for photos with fans and humorously defended her purchase of tofu, which was questioned by her staff, insisting it was indeed on her list. However, she couldn't resist buying squid and abalone from a charming fish vendor, which were not on her list, bringing laughter to the scene.

While shopping, Ko So-young expressed her enjoyment of the lively market atmosphere, saying, "I love the vibe here. It's fun and cheerful." A vendor at an old-fashioned hotteok stall even offered an extra treat for her husband, actor Jang Dong-gun, showcasing the warm hospitality of the market.

Ko So-young also showed her caring side by gifting fingerless gloves to a staff member holding a camera without gloves, urging them to wear them immediately. After her market visit, she expressed her gratitude for the kindness and hospitality of the market people, stating her intention to visit more often.

Meanwhile, Ko So-young recently faced criticism for showcasing a 30 billion won building in Hannam-dong owned by her husband, Jang Dong-gun, on YouTube, which led to the video's removal.
