Lee Byung-hun Takes on Solo Parenting Duties During Family Gathering

Actor Lee Byung-hun was seen taking care of his 3-year-old daughter alone.

On the 16th, the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' released a video titled 'Lunar New Year Special - Visiting Lee Min-jung's In-laws Part 2 with Unblurred BH. Filmed with Permission Again.'

In the video, Lee Min-jung celebrated the holiday at her in-laws' house with her husband Lee Byung-hun, son Joon-hoo, daughter Seo-yi, mother-in-law, and friends, making traditional Korean pancakes.

While everyone was busy in the kitchen, Lee Byung-hun took on the solo parenting role. With 500,000 subscribers, his unblurred appearance in a knit cardigan and glasses caught attention.

When his 3-year-old daughter hung from a bar, Lee humorously remarked, "With one hand? She's not a monkey," causing laughter. He also tried to avoid the camera by bending over, but was caught on all cameras, adding to the humor.

Lee Byung-hun played the role of a problem solver. When asked to make more egg wash, he promptly did so, and also addressed issues like ventilation and electrical problems, showcasing his versatility.

Amidst this, Lee Byung-hun asked Lee Min-jung, "Do you need anything?" trying to be helpful, but Lee Min-jung emphasized focusing on parenting, saying, "Seo-yi seems to be talking now. Please watch her well."

Recently, Lee Byung-hun's mother, who shared a kimbap recipe loved by director Park Chan-wook, surpassed 1 million views. She humorously noted, "After appearing on my daughter-in-law's YouTube, people recognize me. It's uncomfortable. They used to say, 'Aren't you Lee Byung-hun's mom?' Now they ask, 'Aren't you Lee Min-jung's mother-in-law?' My daughter-in-law has become famous, thanks to her mother-in-law." Lee Min-jung laughed, agreeing, "Yes, thanks to my mother-in-law, I've become a rising star."

Towards the end of the video, a photo of Lee Byung-hun mimicking a monkey during his middle school years was found. His daughter Seo-yi worriedly asked, "Dad, are you okay? Look at your ears. What happened?" Lee Byung-hun reassured her, "Dad is fine," bringing more laughter.

Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung married actor Lee Byung-hun in August 2013, and they have a son and a daughter.
