Comedian Park So-young Announces Pregnancy After Natural Conception

Comedian Park So-young, 39, has announced that she is expecting a child.

On the 13th, a media outlet reported, "Park So-young recently confirmed her pregnancy and is focusing on prenatal care amidst congratulations and blessings from those around her."

According to the report, Park So-young conceived naturally while taking a break from IVF treatments. She is currently four months pregnant and is concentrating on prenatal care as she prepares for childbirth.

Park So-young has been sharing her IVF journey on her YouTube channel, 'Jubu Dwaet So-young.'

Park So-young debuted as a comedian in 2008 as part of KBS's 23rd class of comedians. She appeared in 'Gag Concert' segments such as 'Mantis Kindergarten,' 'Menbung School,' and 'Heart Pounding.' From 2020 to last year, she was featured on tvN's 'Comedy Big League.'

In 2024, she married Moon Kyung-chan, a former baseball player who is five years her junior. Moon began his professional baseball career with the KIA Tigers in 2015 and played for the NC Dinos and Lotte Giants before retiring in 2023.
