Former Rhythmic Gymnast Son Yeon-jae Faces Challenges in Gaining Weight for Second Child
Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has opened up about her struggles with gaining weight as she plans for a second child.

On December 12, Son Yeon-jae's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'VLOG: Busy December with Parenting, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Moving Preparations.' In the video, Son discussed her New Year's resolution to gain weight, sharing, "Lately, I've been experiencing 'meal fatigue.'"

She explained, "Until last week, I was eating well. However, when I'm stressed, I tend to lose my appetite. I don't enjoy chewing much, so I often resort to liquid meals."

Previously, in January, Son uploaded a video titled 'What Yeon-jae Ate in a Week 2026: Serious Weight Gain and Meal Fatigue,' where she set a New Year's goal of preparing for a second child. She stated, "I plan to gain weight, not just fat but muscle," and ambitiously aimed to gain 2kg.

Her updates on her weight gain journey have garnered support and empathy online as she shares her plans for a second child.
