Korean Actor Jung Eun-woo Passes Away at 40, Final Social Media Post Draws Attention

Korean actor Jung Eun-woo, whose real name is Jung Dong-jin, has passed away at the age of 40. His final social media post, shared a day before his death, is garnering attention.

According to industry sources, Jung Eun-woo died on the 11th. A day prior to his passing, he posted on his social media with the words "longing, envious, regretful," alongside photos of himself with Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung and British singer Amy Winehouse. The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed.

Jung Eun-woo made his debut in the KBS 2TV youth drama 'Sharp 3' and gained recognition through various dramas such as 'Hit', 'Smile Again', 'The Sun's Bride', 'Five Fingers', 'One Well-Raised Daughter', 'My Heart Twinkle Twinkle', 'Return of Hwang Geum-bok', and 'My Only One'. His last project was 'Memory: Manipulated Murder' in 2021.

The funeral service for Jung Eun-woo is being held at the New Goryeo Hospital Funeral Hall, Special Room 2, in Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province. The funeral procession will take place on the 13th at 12 PM, with the burial at Byeokje Crematorium.
