'Single's Inferno 5' Star Choi Min-a-soo Tops Buzz Rankings for Second Week

Choi Min-a-soo from 'Single's Inferno 5' has maintained her position as the most talked-about non-drama TV-OTT personality for the second consecutive week.

According to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, Choi Min-a-soo ranked first in the non-drama TV-OTT personality buzz rankings for the first week of February. Known for her provocative behavior, she has become a standout 'villain character.' Choi Min-a-soo, a former Miss Earth, also made a brief appearance as Lee Jong-suk's blind date in the drama 'Seocho-dong.'

Not only Choi Min-a-soo, but her fellow 'Single's Inferno 5' cast members are also gaining attention. Lim Soo-bin ranked 2nd, Kim Min-ji 3rd, Park Hee-sun 5th, and Song Seung-il 9th, showing increased buzz compared to the previous week.

Thanks to the cast's performances, Netflix's 'Single's Inferno 5' saw an 11.4% increase in buzz, securing the top spot among non-drama TV-OTT programs. When comparing the third week of release, the program's buzz increased by 107.5% compared to the previous season.

In the non-drama TV-OTT personality buzz rankings, 4th and 6th places went to Son Jong-won and Kim Poong from 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014,' respectively. Despite the program's hiatus, the chefs' popularity remains strong.

Park Bo-gum from 'Bo-gum Magical' took 7th place, while Untell from 'Show Me the Money 12: World of Yacha' ranked 8th. The 10th spot went to Gree from 'Radio Star.'

Meanwhile, the second most buzzworthy non-drama TV-OTT program was Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12,' followed by JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014' in third place. 'Current King 3,' which saw a 39.4% increase in buzz, ranked 4th.

Rounding out the top 10 were ENA/SBS Plus's 'I Am SOLO,' Netflix's 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War Season 2,' Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12: World of Yacha,' TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 4,' MBN's 'Bread of the World: Bake Your Dream,' and tvN's 'Bo-gum Magical.'

The rankings released by Good Data Corporation for the first week of February included TV non-drama and OTT original non-drama programs that were broadcast or scheduled from February 2 to February 8, 2026, along with their cast and guests.

The buzz survey, aimed at identifying the most competitive programs of the week, analyzed news articles, VON (Voice of Netizen), video clips and shorts, and social media reactions. Data unrelated to the programs or intended to artificially inflate buzz scores were filtered out to ensure more accurate analysis of program competitiveness, with an accuracy rate of over 97%.
