Musical Star Ock Joo-hyun Bids Farewell to 'Red Book' Amidst Casting Controversy
The curtain has closed on the musical 'Red Book,' featuring the stellar performance of actress Ock Joo-hyun.

On October 9, Ock Joo-hyun took to Instagram to express her gratitude, posting, "It was very precious📕 Thank you so much for everything..🙏🏻" along with several photos and videos.

The shared posts capture Ock Joo-hyun cherishing memories with her fellow 'Red Book' cast members. She expressed her appreciation, saying, "The letters sent after the final curtain that brought tears to my eyes..💧❤️ Thank you all for letting me live in the best moments.."

Previously, Ock Joo-hyun was embroiled in a 'casting monopoly controversy' on September 28. This arose due to her having a significantly higher number of performances in the upcoming 'Anna Karenina' production.

In response, the production company of 'Anna Karenina' stated the following day, "Casting and performance schedules are the exclusive rights of the production company and original creators," explaining that "there are many variables such as negotiations with the licensor, reduced total performances, and actors' schedules, which made the schedule difficult to finalize."

Meanwhile, Ock Joo-hyun continues to engage with audiences through the musical 'Bonnie and Clyde' and is set to star in 'Anna Karenina' starting on the 20th.
