Actress Geum Sae-rok Reveals Her Dream of Joining Wonder Girls

Actress Geum Sae-rok recently confessed her childhood dream of becoming a member of the Wonder Girls.

On October 7, Geum Sae-rok appeared on the YouTube channel 'Yoo Yeon-seok's Weekend Drama'. The two actors previously worked together on the drama 'Understanding of Love'. Yoo Yeon-seok humorously expressed his apologies, saying, "I was harsh on her," bringing laughter to the set.

During the show, Geum Sae-rok discussed her experience rehearsing for the play 'The French Safe - Who Will Climb the North Wall'. She shared, "It's my first time doing a play, and I'm working with veteran actors like Shin Goo, Jang Hyun-sung, and Jang Young-nam. I wanted to seize the opportunity to work with such esteemed actors. Watching the characters come to life during rehearsals has been a great learning experience."

Deeply immersed in her acting studies, Geum Sae-rok mentioned, "I should have watched the senior actors' musicals. I wanted to see 'Hedwig'. I think the makeup would have suited me well."

Yoo Yeon-seok confidently added, "The 'Hedwig' makeup isn't bad," but admitted, "Running around in heels is tough. It's amazing how idols dance in heels." He also hinted at future plans, saying, "Not this year, but I'm considering doing a show next year. Whether it will be 'Hedwig' or something else, I'm not sure yet."

Reflecting on her past, Geum Sae-rok revealed, "I once dreamed of pursuing dance. I thought I was the best dancer when I was young. In high school, I was obsessed with Wonder Girls, but I didn't want to be an idol. I just wanted to be a part of Wonder Girls. I felt like I belonged there."

She humorously shared that she even wrote a letter to JYP (Park Jin-young), saying, "I want to be a Wonder Girl. I'm confident," but never received a reply. "There was no way it could happen, so I immediately started preparing for college entrance exams," she added, bringing laughter.

In other news, Geum Sae-rok proudly announced, "My younger sibling got a great job. They joined H Motors," drawing attention.
